"Bravely" established in January 2008

Right at the beginning of the GFC, Elite Property Settlements was founded with courage and conviction. Initially run from a home office in Stirling, the business has grown steadily over the years with the constant support of a loyal and very satisfied network of industry practitioners and an ever-increasing client base.

This growth has resulted from "word of mouth" recommendations and repeat business — the truest measure of a service business that delivers on its promises. Our clients come back, and they bring their friends, family and business acquaintances with them.

Milestones that shaped Elite PS

From a home office in Stirling to a growing practice in Osborne Park.

2001

Arrival in Western Australia

Zhanna Tapankova migrates to WA with her two daughters, beginning the journey that would become Elite Property Settlements.

November 2007

Licensed as a Settlement Agent

After completing her Diploma in Finance (Conveyancing) and satisfying the Settlement Agency Supervisory Board requirements, Zhanna is granted her Settlement Agent's License.

January 2008

Elite Property Settlements is born

"Bravely" established at the beginning of the GFC, the business starts from a home office in Stirling — built on reputation, not advertising.

Late 2009

Viktoriya joins the team

Zhanna convinces her eldest daughter Viktoriya to follow in her footsteps, completing her Diploma of Conveyancing and growing into the Senior Conveyancer role.

2010

Gabriela rounds out the team

The youngest daughter, Gabriela, joins the business — completing the perfectly balanced and structured family team.

Late 2012

New premises in Osborne Park

The business moves to spacious new premises at Unit 4, 454 Scarborough Beach Road, Osborne Park — better positioned to cope with growth and business expansion.

May 2012

AICWA recognition

The Australian Institute of Conveyancers WA Division publishes a feature article on Elite PS in its "iConveyNews" magazine — a treasured industry accolade.

Structure

A "hands-on" Principal / Licensee

Currently operating with a "hands-on" Principal/Licensee (Zhanna), her 2 daughters — Senior Conveyancer (Viktoriya) and Personal Assistant (Gabriela) — between them they manage to cope with a significant volume of settlements each year due to their diligent attitude and commitment to maintaining and growing a successful family business.

The family members are not just employees; they have a vested interest in the business that will someday be their own. They therefore understand the importance of working with clients at a level that is clearly superior to their competitors.

Having moved to new premises in Osborne Park late 2012, the business now has the opportunity to operate in a more spacious environment and is better positioned to cope with growth and business expansion.

The long term goal, however, will be to keep the business to a size where the current values of personalised service, incorporating customer care and satisfaction will remain paramount — and will not be lost, as is unfortunately the case with so many much larger businesses.
